Local Outreach
Plus Power developed Gambit with a focus on meeting the needs of the Texas grid and the customers it serves. We are committed to working with the town of Angleton and our neighbors in the community. Safety and community relations are paramount to Plus Power.
As an example, Plus Power held a barbeque party in September 2023 with neighbors and local officials to reintroduce the projects and its benefits and to answer questions on the facility's purpose and operations.
Community Benefits
The Gambit Energy Storage facility strives to be a good neighbor and a valuable asset to the surrounding community for decades to come. The project provides necessary capacity to the region with no air polluting emissions or water use. Significant project benefits to the community include:
